Statewide Operations Support Coordinator

He/She will work closely with the Executive Director and SASH Program Director to develop a technical assistance system to ensure the SASH program is implemented consistently and accurately throughout the state. He/She will travel to SASH Hubs throughout the state to provide support, troubleshooting, and consulting regarding the implementation of SASH. He/She will assist with developing and providing training to SASH teams as well as present to community organizations, boards and committees regarding the SASH model. This is a telecommuting position with travel to CSC’s main office for meetings on a regular basis.

Must possess a Bachelors Degree in Public Administration, Business, Public Health, or related degree. Experience in public policy or program implementation involving low income, the elderly or persons with disabilities is a plus. Must be a team player who enjoys multi-tasking. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and good problem-solving skills. Knowledge of long term care delivery, affordable housing and health care reform a plus.

Cook

Summary: He/She will prepare meals for our residents. Duties encompass all facets of kitchen operations including ordering, preparing, serving, and clean up.

Hours and Location: 30 hours per week, Cathedral Square Senior Living (CSSL), Burlington. Day and Evening shifts available.

LPN

Summary: Provides care and services to residents who are functionally, physically or socially impaired within the scope of license at our Assisted Living Residence, under the direction of the RN Supervisor. Provides charge nurse duties to include medication management and administration, assessment, treatment, and supervision of direct care staff.

Qualifications: Must possess a Vermont LPN license. Experience in long term care setting preferred. Able to think, act and intervene appropriately in both routine and emergency situations. Must possess a high degree of interpersonal communication skills to relate with a wide variety of individuals. Part-time, 32 hours per week, evening shift, every other weekend.

Project Manager

Summary: Seeking a Project Manager to assist our Director of Development with all aspects of the development of specific affordable rental housing projects. He/She will oversee the construction and rehabilitation of CSC housing projects and provide information and technical assistance on electronic technology that will enhance CSC projects and operations.

Qualifications: Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Community Development, Business, Liberal Arts or related field and three years of experience with construction or affordable housing development. Must possess good analytical and problem-solving skills, familiarity with Excel spreadsheets, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a valid Vermont driver’s license.

Resident Assistant – Per Diem

Summary: The Resident Assistant assists residents who are functionally, physically or socially impaired and who need 24-hour oversight. He/she is responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living (eating, transfers, toileting, bed mobility, dressing, bathing and ambulation). He/she is also responsible for providing medication to residents and assisting the Resident Service Coordinator with conducting resident activities.

Qualifications: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. LNA certification is preferred. Prior work experience as a nursing assistant or aide to people who are elderly or disabled is preferred. Must be able to think, act and intervene appropriately in both routine and emergency situations. Must possess good interpersonal communication skills and be able to relate to a wide variety of people. Must be able to communicate effectively in writing. Must be flexible and adaptable to changes in the work environment, including scheduling changes and work assignments. He/she will have exposure to body fluids, infection and odors and behavior of residents. Must be able to lift/push up to 50 pounds and walk four miles daily. Must be able to lift, carry, stand, bend, squat, crawl, reach and kneel using good body mechanics for sustained periods of time.
