Eligibility
Residents must be 62 or older or disabled. Applicants must have incomes below $32,460 annual household income (for one person). All units at Whitcomb Woods participate in the Section 8 Project Based rental assistance program. This assistance allows the resident to make rental payments based on 30% of their income.
Whitcomb Woods Senior Housing is a 65-unit rental community designed to meet the needs of individuals who are 62 or older. The community is located on West Street in Essex Junction about one mile from the Five Corners. Nestled in a mixture of single family residences, with a church nearby, the Whitcomb Woods grounds are surrounded by wooded areas and the Winooski River.
