Eligibility

South Burlington Community Housing is designed for people with mobility impairments aged 62 and younger who are at or below 50% of median income.

South Burlington Community Housing offers affordable housing for people with mobility impairments aged 62 and younger. Located in South Burlington, Vermont and convenient to downtown Burlington, public transportation, and local colleges and universities, the community offers nine one-bedroom apartments. The community offers a non-institutional setting where residents can live independently in a group setting. All residents participate in a care-pooling plan, which allows them to pool their resources to direct the caregiver staff of the community in providing their care, which allows more freedom and independence than a traditional care giving arrangement.
