SASH Data Systems Manager
Summary: Data Systems Manager (DSM) oversees all operations of data informatics for Support and Services at Home (SASH). The SASH program is concentrated in Vermont and spreading nationally to support older adults as they age in place. Key responsibilities of the SASH DSM include management and analysis of longitudinal data collected and entered into primary and secondary data systems. The DSM will generate reports for grant deliverables designated by SASH grantors. This position is responsible for guiding administrative decisions as it pertains to data collection and use. DSM will collaborate with the SASH administrative team in conducting quality population-health analysis for continued evaluation of the SASH model. This position is responsible for supervising SASH Data Systems Support (DSS) in assisting SASH staff with primary database management system as well as third-party collaborative software platforms in which the SASH network participates.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in public health, epidemiology, biostatistics, or related field. 2+ years’ experience in database management and analysis, preferably in a public health nonprofit, academic, or program-evaluation setting. Proficiency with Stata or other statistical analysis software is required. Intermediate or advanced skills and knowledge of other relevant software packages (Arc-GIS, R, SAS, SPSS, and or SQL) preferred. Able to learn quickly, be self-directed, and take initiative. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Capable of conducting technical training to varying levels of computer users. Summary: Performs a variety of cleaning duties in common areas including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, buffing and waxing floors.
Qualifications: Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent. Prior cleaning experience preferred. Prior experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities preferred. Summary: Provides care and services to residents who are functionally, physically or socially impaired within the scope of license at our Assisted Living Residence, under the direction of the LPN Supervisor. Provides nurse duties to include medication management and administration, assessment, and treatment. The LPN will also be required to provide on-call clinical consultation to the staff as needed. S/he supports a philosophy of aging in place consistent with the mission of assisted living and in compliance with the State of Vermont Level III Assisted Living/Residential Care Home regulations.
Qualifications: Must possess a Vermont LPN license. Experience in long term care setting preferred. Able to think, act and intervene appropriately in both routine and emergency situations. Must possess a high degree of interpersonal communication skills to relate with a wide variety of individuals. He/she must have demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment. Summary: The Resident Assistant assists residents who are functionally, physically or socially impaired and who need 24-hour oversight. He/she is responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living (eating, transfers, toileting, bed mobility, dressing, bathing and ambulation). He/she is also responsible for providing medication to residents and assisting the Resident Service Coordinator with conducting resident activities.
Qualifications: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. LNA certification is preferred. Prior work experience as a nursing assistant or aide to people who are elderly or disabled is preferred. Must be able to think, act and intervene appropriately in both routine and emergency situations. Must possess good interpersonal communication skills and be able to relate to a wide variety of people. Must be able to communicate effectively in writing. Must be flexible and adaptable to changes in the work environment, including scheduling changes and work assignments. He/she will have exposure to body fluids, infection and odors and behavior of residents. Must be able to lift/push up to 50 pounds and walk four miles daily.
