Maintenance Technician

Summary:  Responsible for a full range of property maintenance duties including painting, heating and ventilation troubleshooting and repair, responding to work orders, minor plumbing and electrical work, snow shoveling, and landscaping. Daily assignments will vary due to the site and availability of other maintenance staff.  He/she will also be on call for maintenance emergencies.

Manager of Food Service

Summary: The Manager of Food Service has full managerial responsibility of the food service programs with a commitment of cooking healthy, locally-sourced, fresh food for our residents.  The manager will work collaboratively with staff and directors in a team oriented and professional manner.  Must be able to accommodate different dietary restrictions/needs while meeting budgetary requirements and applicable regulations.  The manager is responsible for supervision of staff, menu planning, ordering of food, maintains inventory, food preparation and serving activities.

Qualifications: Must possess an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel & Restaurant Management or equivalent background and experience.  At least five years of previous supervisory and cooking experience in commercial food service is required.  Knowledge of OSHA regulations is essential.  Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and a great leadership ability is key. SASH Program Associate

Summary: S/he provides administrative support to the SASH Statewide Administrative Team.  This position includes managing the statewide staff directories, as well as the referral tracking system and logistics with online and in-person training’s.  Customer service is key as this position often serves as the first point of contact people have with the SASH program through e-mail or phone inquiries. Show your creativity by creating a monthly SASH newsletter and helping with our staff intranet system.

Qualifications: Must possess an Associates Degree or equivalent college level education in Business or related field.  Must possess at least two years of general administrative experience.  The ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with frequent interruption is required.  Must possess a customer service orientation, the ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) effectively with others and work in an organized manner.  Ability to research and trouble-shoot independently.  Respond quickly in time-pressure situations.  Must have experience operating standard business equipment.    Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required, must be able to type at least 40 wpm.  Must possess a technical aptitude; comfort with software applications preferred, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.  Experience with Access, JotForm, and Constant Contact a plus. Occupancy and Compliance Specialist

Summary: The Occupancy and Compliance Specialist is responsible for processing paperwork to verify residents meet regulatory set-aside requirements of the property, and working with applicants and processing move in paperwork and re-certifications.  Job responsibilities include interviewing housing applicants/residents and preparing data for entry into Property Management software regarding Occupancy (Move In, Interim and Annual Re-certifications)  Assists with resident records documentation to comply with appropriate affordable housing regulations.  He/she will perform housing recertification’s which will require traveling to Cathedral Square communities and meeting with residents. Assists Occupancy and Compliance Manager with regulatory reports, audit preparation and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Must have an Associates Degree or equivalent experience.  Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong organizational skills.  The ability to maintain confidentiality, work independently and communicate well with residents is critical.  Experience with MSWord and Excel are required.  Knowledge of housing regulations and prior work with databases is preferred.  Must possess excellent customer service skills, a valid Vermont driver’s license and reliable transportation. Summary: The cook prepares and serves meals in a friendly, professional manner to Memory Care residents.  The Cook’s responsibilities involve all facets of kitchen operations including ordering, preparing, serving, cleaning, receiving, inspecting and rejecting orders, and the monitoring of all kitchen equipment.  The Cook is required to have on-call duties to cover for the Manager of Food Service.

Qualifications:  Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent.  Must be able to read and follow instructions, recipes and resident information as well as perform basic math.    Flexibility in working schedule and weekend/ holiday availability is necessary.  Must possess good interpersonal communication skills and be able to relate to a wide variety of people.  Prior experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is preferred.  Prior cooking experience is preferred

Summary: Provides care and services to residents who are functionally, physically or socially impaired within the scope of license at our Assisted Living Residence, under the direction of the LPN Supervisor.  Provides nurse duties to include medication management and administration, assessment, and treatment. The LPN will also be required to provide on-call clinical consultation to the staff as needed. S/he supports a philosophy of aging in place consistent with the mission of assisted living and in compliance with the State of Vermont Level III Assisted Living/Residential Care Home regulations.

Qualifications: Must possess a Vermont LPN license.  Experience in long term care setting preferred.  Able to think, act and intervene appropriately in both routine and emergency situations.  Must possess a high degree of interpersonal communication skills to relate with a wide variety of individuals. He/she must have demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment. Resident Assistant
