Former Backyard Bingo sponsors include ECHO, Kids on the Block, The American Cancer Society and its 2007 sponsors, Green Animal Defenders, Franklin County Humane Society and Frontier Animal Society of Vermont. “We’ve had some very positive impact on these groups,” said Backyard Bingo co-owner Beverly Granger. “Bingo is a really good source of income.” Annual contributions made by Backyard Bingo total thousands of dollars for each of the organization’s three charity sponsors. Nancy Eldridge, Executive Director of Cathedral Square says, “This is such a wonderful opportunity for us. We look forward to partnering with Backyard Bingo and to raise awareness about the need for affordable housing for seniors.”
