Housing Incentive Program

We are working to become part of the solution to ending homelessness in Vermont.
Drawing on our experience, expertise, and success in innovating around housing and services, we developed the Housing Incentive Program (HIP) which will support persons and families coming from homelessness to be successfully housed over the long term.
OUR SPONSORS:

SUPPORT HIP THROUGH THE HINES FAMILY FUND
You can support this program and help us end homelessness in Vermont by giving a gift today! Any donation makes a difference.
Our goal is to raise $150,000 to support a total of 60 participants in our initial pilot. This program is already having a tremendous impact on not only those enrolled, but also their neighbors and surrounding communities. In fact, we named our HIP fund the ‘Hines Family Fund’ in honor of our first two HIP participants, brothers James and John Hines. During his first six months living in a Cathedral Square community, James participated in life-saving measures, along with several other residents at Juniper House, when a visitor was found unconscious. You can read more about James and John's HIP success stories in our 2024 Annual Report.
